Factored Learning Fest – Integration Test

Learning Fest is a free virtual event where we aim to celebrate and share the knowledge that Factored has gathered alongside with its partners and special guests. 

Why should you join?

At Factored we are hoping to do our part in contributing to closing the gender gap in technology in LATAM and showcase female talent in different roles like Data Engineering, Data Analytics and Machine Learning. 

During 4 days we’re going to be offering not only technical talks and workshops that will enable you to advance your career but also sharing tips and hacks on how you can create a powerful resume and effectively prepare for a technical interview.

Join us if you are:

• Looking for ways to deepen your knowledge in any of the following fields: Machine Learning Engineering, Data Engineering or Data Analytics
• Interested in a career in data related role
• Wanting to hear and learn from other practitioners in the space

When is it happening?

Online: Feb 13 – 16

• Should I pay anything to attend?
  Nope! It’s FREE!
  
  
• How can I access the talks or workshops?
  You need to first, register for the event and then use the platform to add talks to your calendar. Only by registering you’ll be able to access the talks and workshops links.
  
  
• I’m not a Woman; can I attend the event?
  Of course! Everyone is welcome.
  
  
• In what language is the event going to be held?
  Most of the event’s content will be in English. However, some talks and workshops will be hosted in Spanish, including The Role Models Panel, Talent Office Hours and the Training Programs talk.
  
  
• How do I know if a talk or workshop is offered in Spanish or English?
  If the event’s title is in English, the event will be hosted in English.  If the event’s title is in Spanish, the event will be hosted in Spanish
  
  
• The activity I’m interested in is not in my preferred language, can I still come?
  Yes! We use Zoom webinar, which can be configured on your end to include Subtitles in the language of your choice.
  
  
• I’m interested in attending a workshop. Do I need to install anything on my computer?
  It depends on each specific event. Please check the workshop description to get the specifics. Before the workshop starts,  please ensure that any technical stack needed is ready to run on your computer. There’s no time allocated on the agenda for installing additional software on your device.
  
  
• Should I pay for any of the software needed in the workshops?
  No. We have asked the speakers to include only open-source software in the list.
  
  
• I’m interested in being part of Factored. Are there any opportunities to learn more about that during the event?Yes! The last day of the event, February 16th, 2023 (Thursday), will be dedicated to you getting to know more about the different opportunities at Factored:
  • Our Head of Learning will discuss our Training Programs in Data Engineering and Machine Learning Engineering.
  • Our Recruiting team will host office hours to answer any questions you may have. 
  • If you want to practice how to present yourself in an interview and get feedback about your communication skills, get in touch with Office hours from our Head of People.
